We have each been close to this problem, from a different side. One of us from the barn, the other from behind the wheel.
The idea for Crowfly has lived in Jacqui's head for almost a decade. She grew up around horses, and for years she watched the farriers and vets who came to the barn lose whole afternoons to the drive between appointments. She had wanted to train horses herself, but the part she was truly good at turned out to be the business side, the clients and the operations. She is great at that, and she wanted to build something that lets people like you stay focused on what you are great at.
Nickolai came at the same problem from the driver's seat. He spent years as a mobile service tech, on site before the customer's day began, driving from job to job, and home well after dinner. He knows the field improvising too. You can install a server in a rack by yourself, as long as you stack up enough books to hold it level while you put in the bolts. Same long days, same road, the same problem from the other side of the windshield.
